Good morning, and happy Monday!
I’ve been wanting to start a podcast for a year now. For personal reasons, I knew I needed to reclaim my voice—figuratively but also literally. But I also sensed the immense voids and disconnect between people, topics, and ideas…and know firsthand how that keeps us from creating solutions—or beauty.
I suspect that the podcast will evolve, as the best creative projects always do, but this first season will be a deep joy, an exploration of creative empathy and empowerment for anyone who feels overwhelmed, self-conscious, uncertain, or blocked—yet knows they are meant to create.
Create solutions. Create art. Create stories and music and multi-faceted lives.
Listeners who are curious and willing to flow along with episodes that include practical tips as well as metaphysical—and everything in between. Those who love the open-for-interpretation title, The Creative If.
Have I hinted at all that in this podcast trailer? Mmm…not sure. Nor am I entirely sure what will happen once I tap “send” on this email.
No doubt I’ll second-guess myself and my voice and even the metadata I included for the algorithms—but a little uncertainty and a splash of chaos is wonderful for creativity.

1st Drawings for the T2Y Giving Project
We had a lovely, petite pool of entries for this first month, but the feedback has been so positive that I’m truly excited to see how this will grow over the next eleven months!
Three recipients were randomly drawn, the old-fashioned way with slips of paper and a bowl, and I’m reaching out today to let them know! (So keep an eye out for a 2nd email……………………!)
After I’ve received permission to share their names (or cheery pseudonyms), I’ll announce them on the 31st!
If I’ve learned anything from writing books, it’s that the best things evolve over time…which is why I’ve also updated the info page with some more examples to spark your nominations for February!
A couple of important notes from frequent questions…
Recipients for coaching/consults do not have to live in the USA, nor do they have to be women. I offer a feminine-oriented perspective and especially love to help other women, but I had a teacher ask if she could submit a male student’s name…and the answer is YES! Of course! I’d love to help!
And in a similar vein, the only reason I’m (politely) asking for book bundle recipients to be in the USA is because of international shipping/customs. I’ll expand this to more countries as soon as it’s feasible. 💖
And for my lovely poetry readers…
I added three (very) moody ones yesterday. They’ll go behind the paywall on Wednesday, but are free to subscribers right now.
